Students performing a musical number in sparkling 1970s-style costumes

The Arts

Theater Arts.

Two productions a year, on stage and behind the scenes, for every student who wants a part in the show.

Take the stage

On stage and behind it.

Sonoma Academy students explore theater both onstage and behind the scenes, through electives, exploratory courses and Intersession.

Each year we stage two productions, one in the fall and one in the spring, for live audiences. Performers are cast by audition.

Students who prefer to work offstage take on lighting, set and costume design, choreography and more.
