About the school
A great place to teach.
Sonoma Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory high school serving students from Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Lake counties. Our 34-acre campus sits at the foot of Taylor Mountain in southeast Santa Rosa, about an hour north of San Francisco.
Our curriculum is grounded in an understanding of the adolescent brain. It is multidisciplinary and innovative, teaching critical thinking, cultural competency and empathy, with room for play, humor and art.
About half of our students receive financial aid, and our Davis Scholars program provides all-inclusive scholarships to four to six first-generation Latine students each year.
