Janine joins us most recently from New Roads School in Santa Monica, where she was Academic Dean of the Upper School and held interim leadership roles. Originally from Toronto, she taught science, biology, and chemistry, chaired a department, and worked with the University of Toronto's teacher credentialing program.

Her experience includes increasing parent engagement, overseeing academic planning and course advising, building processes for faculty professional growth, evaluation, and feedback, and developing an Advisory program. Her commitment to supporting students and teachers was evident immediately, and she aligns with the school's values of connection and community.

Beyond supporting faculty, she directs the Penn Fellows Program.
