Daniel is a multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer from the Bay Area, with a lifelong interest in music that began with drums as a child and expanded to guitar, bass, and keyboard as a teenager. He brings that passion to his work with students.

He played in several local bands and performance groups in high school and is experienced in composing original material. He first brought that skill to Sonoma Academy with the 2013 theatrical production of Metamorphoses.

He earned a Music and Recording Arts degree from California State University, Chico, studying music theory, composition, recording, and audio production. He has performed in studio and live settings across many genres and has toured in the U.S. and abroad. He currently teaches and directs bands in the jazz, guitar, and musical theater programs and leads Exploratory classes teaching basic guitar and drums.
