Caroline was born in Ireland and moved to Southern California at age nine. After earning her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara, she has worked in education and counseling throughout her career.

She taught ESL for several years in Italy, Spain, Austria, and China. She then moved to the Bay Area to pursue a master's degree in psychology.

Since 2011, she has worked as a therapist, first supporting children and families in foster care in San Francisco and the East Bay, then in independent schools. After earning her LMFT in 2015, she worked as a counselor at The Harker School and is currently at Mercy High School Burlingame, where she also taught an Intro to Psychology class.

She is excited to join Sonoma Academy and bring her enthusiasm for education and mental health to the school community.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on trails and with her husband, their two young daughters, and their 15-year-old dog, Ned.
